Management

The Trust SSN Trust was founded in 1994 by Padma Bhushan Dr. Shiv Nadar and his elder brother (Late) Justice Pratap Singh, a Judge of the Madras High Court. A legal luminary, Justice Pratap Singh dedicated his life to a number of social causes that served the greater good of society. The trust is instituted in honour of their father, (Late) Sri. Sivasubramaniya Nadar. The Trust has established the SSN Institutions. The institutions are run on a not-for-profit basis, and aim to provide the highest quality educational and research facilities for meritorious students belonging to all economic strata.

The Trustees Dr. Shiv Nadar – Managing Trustee Mrs. Kiran Nadar Ms. Roshni Nadar Malhotra Board of Management A seven member Managing Committe oversees the operations of SSN Institutions: 1. Mr. Shiv Nadar - Founder and Managing Trustee, SSN Trust (Chairman, HCL Technologies) 2. Mr. R. Srinivasan - Chairman, SSN Institutions (Director & CEO – Redington Ltd, Global Management and Business Leader) 3. Ms. Roshni Nadar Malhotra - Trustee, SSN Trust 4. Prof. R. Natrajan - Former Director IIT Madras, Former Chairman AICTE 5. Mr. T.S. Krishnamurthy - Former Chief Election Commissioner, Government of India 6. Mr. P. Sivaprasad – Advocate, High Court Chennai 7. Ms. Kala Vijayakumar - President, SSN Institutions The administrative and professional competence of these members constitutes a valuable source of strength for the accomplishment of the Institutions' goals.
